As you may or may not know I am a massive geek. Some of you are too I know, so take a look at this.

The idea is a there is this scientist at the Cern (hence Collider) who realizes every horror story about what could happen might just be true. Anyway he is discredited and kicked out. He tries to sneak back in and fiddles with the machine and is dragged to a post apocalyptic 2018. He meets a group of people one who has been pulled from 2013, one from 2014 on so on so each knows a bit more about what happened and that’s how the story is pieced together.

Starting the fourth of June there is an 8 part web series staring Ian Robertson (of Rab C Nesbit fame). What is quite cool is there is a comic series that tells the back story of the six main characters – one comic per character. There is also a Facebook group with more content there. And there is an app game that tells a bit more of the story slightly after web series.

Now for the very cool bit. In September they start shoot a major movie building on all the other elements as the next step of the collider universe.
